As the weekend inches closer and the year draws to a close, I believe that no truer, more urgent message can be gleaned from the following:

2011 was a year of upheaval, freedom, sacrifice and change.

Let 2012 be a year of rebuilding, opportunity and the realization of the freedom so hard fought for.
