Islam, oil, Dubai, Mecca and Medina, desert, terror, Arab-Israeli conflict – war – two Gulf Wars, Palestinians, Jews, Hamas, food – hummus – olives.

Oddly, two themes are becoming recurrent: food and war.

What complex beings we humans are.

    Which reminds me, what’s that dish with lamb / yoghurt / rice called that’s so popular in Jordan? I remember they served it at every place we were invited to back when I was a kid!
    Food and war pretty much sums up humanity’s history ;-]
