More recently I have become addicted to the Radio France’s fip, which provides a splendid melange of the world’s most chilled and awesomely quirky music.
From Rachid Taha to B. B. King, it encompasses a little of everything that makes for much auditory pleasure.
Particularly when it involves the Canadian gypsy jazz ensemble, The Lost Fingers:

Based in Quebec, their debut album Lost in the 80s comprises songs such as Billie Jean, Straight Up and Pump Up the Volume via jazz manouche.
The result is a jaunty take that brings skittish charm to otherwise germane songs.
It is utterly addictive – pity the album is not so available on these shores.
