It seemed as though an end would be in sight, that if hope was held long enough justice would prevail and a young woman would emerge from jail and pick up a semblance of a life.

It was not to be.

Delara Darabi, aged just 22, was executed today after months of uncertainty.

There are no words for this injustice; it is nauseatingly tragic.
