This week’s PhotoHunt theme is View, and while I initially yipeed with joy at another seemingly easy subject, I soon realised that perhaps there were too many that fitted, and it became an irksome round of elimination.
Which is why I ultimately chose to turn the concept of View on its head, and shirk the panorama in favour of a concentrated view.
The following image was captured in London, and is one of the reasons I have grown to love the capital so much.

Aside from the boggling array of shops, restaurants and venues of culture and entertainment, it is the streets that amaze me.
I could easily spend a whole day just snapping, and by the end my eyes are aching and spinning from staring and marveling at the beauty and singularity of London life.
While I could never love London as I love Scotland, it is a place that never ceases to fill this country bumpkin with awe and exhilaration.
Even if I do smell like a skunk at the end of a day on the Underground.
Such a wonderful view! And the monochrome highlights the extraordinary variety of activity happening here! Great pic!

have a great weekend
Love the shot….can’t really ascertain where it is. It looks like off of Shaftesbury, somewhere in Soho. Do you remember? Well done again. I have to say the imagery on your site is second to none.
Yay, thanks! I think it would have been closer to Soho; walking all day, the areas just blend into one long traipse!
