I love this theme, simply because there are too many things to comprise within the space of one post; accordingly, I have limited it to but two, after much fretting and choosing.
First up, is my mother, who will always be the most beautiful creature in my eyes:

While the script is ridiculously luscious by itself, this image represents more than the literary image; rather, it represents my adoration for everything associated with the Middle East: the culture, art, literature, language, geography, cuisine, and so it goes on to eternity.

That’s a great shot of your mother. I’m always fascinated at old photographs…thinking about what the subject was feeling, thinking, doing that day…and what their lives became. Did the dreams they had that day come true? All that sort of stuff.
Great choices. The text photo is particularly stunning – amazing composition.

Lovely photo of your mum and the shot of the Arabic script, to me, says mystery as much as beauty.
