Once more, I have been driven by the divine forces of procrastination – or the sheer jubilation of finishing my book proposal, at last - to clear out my inbox.
You would think, with a folder dedicated to the rather catchy title of ‘Things to Post’, there would be a semblance of organisation; alas, not a modicum is to be found, and so, posts such as these from the Association of the Palestinian Community in the UK (APCUK) languish a while more than necessary.
The following image and accompanying quip brings to mind those chilling images circulated in the media during the 2006 Lebanon War, in which immaculately dressed Israeli children played not with Barbies or Transformers, but with marker pens and missiles.
It is with much déjà vu, then, that I present the following, with the accompanying quote:

Imagine what the main stream media would have said if these were Palestinian children. It will be shown all over the world to depict barbarian Palestinians training innocent kids to become terrorists or born terrorist kids training to kill innocent and peaceful Israeli kids and so on. Why is this not seen in the media?

Maybe you could succeed in this picture quiz: choosing which is a jew and which is a palestinian.

nice post! I love it! have a nice day!
Man, the level of blind hypocrisy is amazing. Where are the dozens of pictures of palestinian kids in explosive belts or carrying automatic weapons or rocket-propelled grenades. There are two (or more) sides to every story. Be a bit more objective here.
Morris108 – Thanks for the link: it was quite profound.
Steve – Such pictures are ten a penny, hence the focus on images such as these, for their very rarity in the media’s glare. There are indeed two sides – the APCUK is merely emphasizing the lesser perceived one.
