I hate to say this but it’s a threshold of pain issue. By that I mean, how much and for how long can you afford to pursue your goal. Obviously, only you can sort that. By the way, I”m sure you know this but St Andrews University has a Middle Eastern Studies curricula and I know that is an area they are expanding in…..for what it’s worth.
