I am dumbfounded. 3-0.
How. Could. This. Happen.
For once, I am lost for words, and henceforth shall tear up with humiliation and frustration at the mere sight of anything orange or Dutch.
So that’s Edam and Tropicana off this week’s shopping list.
On a spirit-lifting note, check out the following – pure positivity.
All that is missing from the sport section is “Dutch Side Resign From Tournament Following Persistent Bout of Explosive Diarrhoea” and “Italy Takes Home European Cup.”
For now, however, I shall bury my woes and look forward to this:

Italy were humiliated! They absolutely Got no talent in their Team!
Ps : i believe Croatia gonna play a big role this year..they may even be the dark horse and win it.
Ouch, Maher! Regarding the first point, I have never heard such scurrilous false-truths!
I’m with you on the second though – Croatia has always been my secondary team and they are inevitably a mighty force to be reckoned with.
However, without Dado Pršo, it simply isn’t the same. I could say similar for the Azzurri without Cannavaro, Nesta, and Maldini…
I dont know if i got it right..but do you really think Italy has Talented players?
Like C.Ronaldo? Messi? Podolski? Sneider? Van Der Vart?
I mean the very one player that the whole team can depend on.
well..Italy Have A.Cassano, who is a great force, and they even Have Palladino. But i dont know if Palladino was called.
Dado Prso? They got better ones! Olic and Petric are decent.
But Modric…is WOW!
This is a tough one, Maher, because I am aware that Italy is not playing at its best – but equally, I refuse to be a fair-weather supporter and avoid this debate on that basis!
Sure, the aforementioned players are good, but if we talk about a European national side that has consistently produced good players down the years, Italy is certainly the best.
At the moment, Italy’s best player is still out (Cannavaro), but stepping in, Materazzi is bold, while Del Piero is the current reigning Serie A top goalscorer.
While I’m hesitant to place Italy’s erratic style within the same paragraph as Croatia’s awesome consistency, I can only hope they will turn things around as quick-sharp as we witnessed the Croatian side doing, tonight with Germany.
