While there are very few things that I don’t miss about Amman, the stairs are top of the list, which is why this short movie by Roba proved the source of much amusement this morning. Nevertheless, the unending, crumbling staircases usually guaranteed an excellent way to work off the mouth-watering kunafa, awameh, and baklawa troughed during the day…

…which is a good thing: had it not been for these thigh-burning giants, I would have needed two seats on the plane back…Mmmm. But what I wouldn’t give for just one awameh, right now…
